Torchie Peponita Son A.K.A. CARLOS-Carlos is a great all around family horse. He has been used at Joplin Regional Stockyards as a pen back horse. He will open gates & side passes. He has been used outside and rides with no tie-down. He has good solid feet. Carlos has mainly been used as a Head horse and Ranch horse. Our 12 year old son has used him as a practice horse on both live cattle and the Heel-O-Matic. My husband mainly rides Carlos and he has been hauled to several jackpots and has had money won on him. He has been lightly started on the barrels but is in no way a barrel horse. I don’t think it would take much to get him going. He is a quick learner and wants to please. Carlos is 15.2 Hands and weighs 1100lbs. He has been shawed and wormed regularly. He is completely sound.
Smarty is a nice gentle gelding. Ridden by grandkids and elderly people. Good on the trail and pasture. Extremely cowy. Good sorter. Has been headed on some. No hump or buck or other vices.
Very nice 7 yr old buckskin gelding. About 15.1 hands. “Goose” was started as a reiner and then transitioned to roping as a 5 yr old. He was started on Hot Heels, heeling. Ran a few live steers then sent him to a trainer in August 2014. Spent 6 months at the trainer roping both ends but primarily head. Leaves on your hand, great in the box, very fast to the hip, pulls strong. He is showcased in the preview. Does not crib, weave. No vices. Great around horses, hauls good, stands tied, good for the farrier. With some more this season, this will be a very high caliber head horse.
Super nice filly-very willing filly with great hip and bone structure. She has been a great filly to start and is very handy with her footwork. She will make a great all around/rope prospect.
This is as calm of a colt as I have ever started. He rides like a 12 yr old horse. We have gathered cattle, sorted packs and pushed cattle through working chutes. He takes everything in stride. Crosses creeks/bridges. He is broke, broke, broke.
Top bred South Dakota/Ranch using horse breeding. Yellow Cord horses are some of the most sought after horses for ranching and roping. This colt has the mind, bone and looks. He has been an absolute dream to start. Great mind and willing attitude.
They just don’t get any better than this little quarter pony. She is by my Rooster bred stud out of a POA mare. I bred and raised her. She has been ridden all over the country, gathered cattle, crossed ditches. You name it she does it. She has been started on barrels and started on roping.
Solid, sound heading gelding. This has been my # 1 or 2 horse for three years. Has been to many USTRC & World Series roping’s. Hauled to USTRC Finals and made short go both heading & heeling. I have won a lot of money on Ranger at jackpots and big roping’s many of them right here at Lucky J. He is low maintenance and this is a rare opportunity to buy a nice gelding that is proven in front of lots of people in this area. Just ask around. Ranger will look at a cow, has been used in the pasture and also runs a decent barrel, pole pattern. 100% guarantee all around. No vices.

This pretty little ’04 palomino mare is selling grade only because her information was never sent into AQHA. Her sire is Mr. Tanquerote (3503440) going back to Tanqueray Gin (1090327) and Doc O’Lena (0493297) and her dam is Lena’s Pep Solano (3448784) as a Peponitas daughter going back to Peppy San and Dock O’Lena. Faith was trained by Johnie Clem and has spent over two years in his training facility working on Extreme Cowboy obstacles and training. She has been hauled to small SE Kansas shows and won money in Western Pleasure and Reining and been exhibitioned in barrels, poles, and flags. Most recently, she has won either 1st or 2nd place money in each of the Extreme Cowboy races she was entered in. The Mid Central Ride and Slide Extreme Cowboy Races. She is an easy keeper and has had a lot of groundwork done from Clinton Anderson Series. I am choosing to part with her only because we have gotten ourselves spread too thin, and I need to focus my time on other projects my kids are involved in.

Cowtown is a big bodied, big hearted, great, gentle horse. He is a finished heading and steer tripping horse. He has been hauled to every kind of rodeo and jackpot there is. He
has competed at Cheyenne Wyoming PRCA Rodeo, Spicer Gripp Jackpot & the Wendy Ryan Roping multiple times. Ty McKleary used him at a lot of PRCA Rodeo’s as a pick-
up horse, working for Harry Vold. He’s nice and quiet to ride and gentle enough for little kids. He has the motor to catch up to any steer and makes roping easy. Scores great
and leaves the box super flat. He can be rode at all levels from an open roping all the way down to a beginner. If you want to go to the pay window don’t overlook Cowtown. He
has a great mind, awesome disposition, and good looks to match. We at Allen Ranch Horses are proud to offer this great gelding. He is also branded with the Allen Valley
